Sad news of the death of a Past President

I am sad to announce the death of our current Past President Liz Hall of Doncaster who died yesterday after a long hard fought fight against cancer. Liz suffered from breast cancer which with her indominable spirit fought and beat it to be then diagnosed with bone cancer which after a long fight she died with. She was a great supporter of bowling for her club Doncaster and her county Yorkshire and she will be sorely missed by both. On behalf on all the Yorkshire ladies we send sympathy to Liz's family and friends.
